It's a sultry summer day in Pittsburgh. Chris is in Canada for a stage race and Fred and I were supposed to go along. (Time Trial this AM didn't go so well, apparently the race times were messed up from what was posted on the web, and he missed his start. Haven't heard yet on this afternoon's road race.) Alas, allergy season this year has been tough. I ran a fever Thurs night, and have been as exciting as a wet dishrag since. But because I'm home, I broke down and filled out the info to sign up for an appointment at Kauffman's to register for gifts. The nice thing about these guys is they are a subsidiary of May's, so the registry will apply to stores in all 50 states. Some of the stores involved are Filene's, Famous Barr, Foley's, Kaufmann's, Strawbridge's, some other CA store, etc. We all know that nationwide coverage is critical with this wedding! :) Anyway, we'll see if/when they call back and I can get this party started. I set all of Chris' information equal to mine so that I don't have to worry about multiple May's department store fliers, phone calls, and spam going all over the place. I'm taking one for the team! Not that I'm suspicious or anything, however I'm still getting JJill catalogs at work because I had one lousy order sent there when I first moved to Pgh 4 years ago.
