So everyone is back in their proper cities now...sorta. In addition to everything going on in St Louis in preparation for the wedding, the downside is that our best man,Eli, left Pittsburgh to move back to Santa Cruz, CA this weekend. Great news for Eli (and eventually his wife Lara, who will join him in two weeks), who was probably doing the hora of joy on the airplane (we would have been!). It's just not so good news for Chris and me. Eli & Chris are quite the pair of pals. Eli is as liberal as Chris is conservative, and has no interest in bike racing. But I think eventually what makes it work is they both have similar end values, they just disagree on how to get there. (I'm sure I'll be getting at least 2 emails on this one!) Anyway, we miss you, Eli! Do some basking in the sun for us!
