Ahhhh, we're in a wedding lull, I think. Sort of between getting the reception hall reserved and getting thank you cards. We really want to get some thank you cards made that have a picture our friend Erin took of Fred on it. It's a happy picture, and it would certainly be personal, if not traditionally formal. Now I just have to go make it so.

The timing of our wedding-plan downtime is fabulous. The Tour de France started on Saturday, woohoo! So I'll be really focused on work. Really. I won't be reading the Tour de France updates at all. On the downside, our VCR bit the dust this weekend. Not a good year for electronics. One VCR died early on, then Fred pulled the next VCR off of the TV trying to get a ball out from among the cords. Now this one is showing tracking problems. I can't get too excited about losing this one, it's a 14 year old VCR which has survived about 6 moves. It's had a long life. But anyway, this is a short post today because I have to go take a look at today's live update. They're only 35 miles from the cobbled sector...wonder how Ullrich and Armstrong will like that!
