Odd moment #4045 in this whole wedding thing...

I was at Pittsburgh Cares last night stuffing envelopes with 5 other women and one man. I was the only one in the room with a significant other, much less engaged. After all of those years of "Why can't I find a nice guy?" I found myself on the other side of the fence. Part of me wants to go "No, WAIT! I'm one of you!" and part wants to laugh like Nelson from the Simpsons. There's some angst I'm not going to miss! Now if I could just get all of my friends to the point where they are either happy alone or with someone who makes them happy, all would be well. :)

Hey, we got another wedding gift off of the registry! I could get into this whole thing of presents just showing up at the door, this is very cool!

A friend of mine from work just went into labor this AM (inconveniently cancelling our 7:30 AM meeting!), so I'm looking forward to meeting her new baby.
