Who knew that shoe shopping could be so entertaining? But once I started digging around on the internet, with some direction from Kathy (or at times maybe that should be "direction"), we've found some truly...hideous...shoes. After looking at one site, Kath emailed
"I love the lug sole bridal shoes... for that manly bride.... "here comes the bride...all dressed in PLAID Flannel and sensible shoes...""But I was equally fascinated by the other end of the spectrum...like these feather encrusted mules. Just perfect for the bride who's thinking of wearing a white teddy to her wedding. Or maybe someone who wants to dust the molding around the bottom of the wall? But for the earthy, yet high maintenance set, how about the wood and rhinestone combo? And finally, for that disco wedding, how about the clear plastic shoes. I'm pretty sure these are on the cover of the "100% Pure Funk" CD. Maybe she could come in to the romantic strains of "Stayin' Alive"
Now I understand the allure of shoe shopping! And to think I expected this to be boring.
